I'm starting to wonder when kids grow out of the messy phase. It's not yet. That's for sure. You can't really see it, but there is a box of cereal poured out all over the table and the floor... The broom was his attempt to clean up after himself. He's learning at least.
When he realized that he had done a naughty mess, he tried to help me clean up. That's almost as bad as the mess!
He is pretty sneaky though. I have to admit that! He can climb up and snag a box of cereal and have it opened and dumped out without me even realizing what has happened! Then when he is discovered he smiles and tries to distract me. It usually works.
