We have been fiercely working to get Mason all the equipment we can to help him gain more freedom and mobility. When we were at Shriner's Hospital last summer we talked about getting him a different kind of 'walker' than the one he has been using at school. He does a great job, but the pony walker he uses is kind of difficult for him to steer and is in front of him and excludes him from exploring walls and touching a whole lot in front of him other than the walker. We went one day for a 'test drive' in the gym at Shriner's to try this one out. He LOVED it. We have been trying with our insurance to get it covered and I think that we may just get it in the next month or two! Now the problem is finding wide open spaces for him to explore safely! It's a good problem to have with Mason.

Oh my gosh that's awesome Kerry! So happy for Moose :)
Look at that face!! He's ecstatic! :D Becca doesn't like to do this kind of thing. I don't know if it scares her or if she really can't make her legs move her forward, but she is not a fan of self propulsion. And that's totally okay with me, but I love to see kids that love to move! This picture makes me want to walk backwards in front of him and just watch the joy on his face. :)
