I Can't Resist the Sleeping Pictures~

I just don't know how they can get a good night's sleep this way!
Sleepover with mom when dad was out of town for work..  Not much room for mom!
Ez must have been too hot or something...
 Holding hands...
It is a very unusual thing to see Mason asleep any other way besides on his back.  He was out and his singing puppy was singing happily in his ear.
 Cuddling with 'Archie'
These two have to sleep close.  No matter how many times I go in and separate them they are all over each other.. usually Ethan is laying on Mason.
Sleeping in a ball..  How does he sleep!?

Talking on the Phone~

Mason loves a lot of people and he is so happy to hear from people.  There is one person that he goes crazy to talk to on the phone.  My Mom..  She is so fun when they talk.  Obviously he just giggles and squeals back with an occasional word, but he LOVES when she talks to him.  She sings and coos just like she were here playing with him.  He can't get enough.  He will 'talk' to her for hours if she could do it.
One time when we were in the hospital I really needed a shower.  Mason doesn't let me get up out of 'our' bed for that long.  I usually have to endure the crying while I use the restroom or get dressed.  I needed a Mason sitter very badly.  I was on the phone with my mom and she said, "put me on speaker and let me talk to him."  She can babysit Mase over the phone!  He was happy as could be and I got to shower.  You can see it's pretty fun to watch him respond.

Another common site at our house!

One thing Ezra can do well it is throw a tantrum!  Over nothing.  He is a champion tantrum thrower.  Kicking and screaming and totally limp.  The whole deal.  It doesn't quite get the job done with me since I just kind of laugh most of the time.  I try to intervene enough to be sure that he doesn't hurt himself.  He doesn't like that.
I suppose it's not funny, but the drama of it sure seems funny.  It gets less and less funny the busier I am or the more public the place.  I suppose my stress level dictates whether it's cute and sad enough to take pictures and post them.  He gets so sad and can come out of it so easily.
He was NOT a fan of deciding on a Halloween costume.  He was terrified of them all.  After we decided he wanted to be Curious George for Halloween it took all month to practice putting it on.  We got the coat, but it came close with those pants.  No chance for the chicken.  Too bad.  It's pretty darling!

My Makeup Artist~

Sometimes I get busy doing something and stop suddenly and wonder.. Where's Ez?  What trouble could he be causing.  Things get pretty quiet and I know that there is trouble!  My bathroom is the first place I check and usually is the last because this is what I find!
He loves putting on my makeup.  If he hears me talk about getting ready and getting my make up he makes a mad dash to join me.  It's funny and a little annoying because honestly I don't use much make up.  He uses A LOT more than I ever have.
He really doesn't like me to wash it off either.  That's just inconsiderate I suppose.
And of course he's all about his accessories.  They are just as important, right?
He was just full of looks this morning.  I love it.

radKids.

At school they have a program for the kids called radKids.  It is a weekly program that empowers kids and teaches them how to defend themselves and stand up for themselves.  It was pretty cool to go to Ethan's graduation.
They made a bigger deal out of it than I thought they would.  It was all about the demontration of everything they had learned.
The big 'lobster man' police officer was there to pretend to try and come after and steal the kids.  Then they got to show off all their moves.
 So proud.
Suiting up for the final demonstration!  They were all about protective gear.
Ethan got away.  Victory.  Glad they are teaching them what to do in these situations.  They are much better at it than I would be.
A diploma for the graduate.  I'm not gonna lie... I welled up a little!

Admirer!

We came home one night to a darling little note (several notes) chalked all over our driveway and patio!  They were from the neighbor girl to Ethan.  He was soooo embarrased.  I loved it.  I tried to get pictures to document it.  They weren't quite what I had in mind, but actually so much better and funnier!
 aww.  Cute.
