In Ethan's Kindergarten class they had a special day just for the Dads. Dad Day! They prepared for weeks and weeks with special songs and fun things to share with their dads. They made a journal for their dad and made a book for them. When they got there they were able to show their dad their desk and their classroom. Ethan thought it was very cool that his dad was sitting in his spot!
After a few welcoming things they did a little musical presentation for the dads. They sang 3 songs. For some reason Ethan thought this was so funny!
In one of the songs they sang they used some sign language. This is the part in the song that says, "I think you're wonderful!"
After the program and the scheduled activities were done they were able to walk their dads around the room to the 'centers' and show them their favorite things in their class. Ethan immediately went to the computer center to show dad his favorite computer games.
He was mostly interested in showing this center, not so much giving dad a chance to try it out!
Then it was off to the tornado bottles.
They raced and raced with the tornado bottles. Ethan is so lucky to have such a fun dad to play with.
Ethan won!
Then it was off to the sand table to show dad all there is to do there. 
After the sand table they went to build a marble race track. Ethan had such a great time. Spen is such a good sport to get all dressed up and go to dad day whilst recovering from pneumonia. Ethan was very worried that he wouldn't make it and begged him the night before to try really hard to make it. Spen was so great to not even let on that he didn't feel so well the entire time he was there. Dad day was a success!
